Panacea

Happy Saturday, all!
I am so happy to be off, relaxing and trying to feel better from a few different sicknesses that have all jumped on me at once.

During the school year, my weekends are spent with my wonderful husband. I look forward to those times since we don't get much time together during the week. This weekend, we started it off with our friend Tom's going away party at a coffee house called Panacea. It was really nice. Everyone came out to support him and tell him goodbye before he heads out on his 11 month mission trip with World Race. We are so proud of him. God will use him tremendously, I feel very confident. Almost all of our friends were there, and we had a great time!

This morning, we went back to Panacea for "Sipsters". Sipsters is a group that gets together every once in a while to work on our creative writing, art, or whatever else we may need to work on. I've only been able to attended a few times, but I love it!
Panacea is a really cool place. It is nestled in a large, old warehouse. There's an outdoor seating patio, tons of tables indoors, and just a cool vibe. Most of the baristas have tattoos, piercings, dreads, or multi-colored hair. Its just fun :)

I know I've said it before, but I am really thankful for my friends. For the first few months of marriage, I was really lonely. As time has progressed, I've connected more and more with the people here and I am so happy about my group. I still miss my high school and college friends TREMENDOUSLY, but I have a group here that serves and loves God's as my other friends do. Such a blessing!
