Skinny Mexicano Mocha

Thursday, January 3, 2013
One thing that everyone learns about me quickly is that I love coffee in many forms: My morning coffee with cream and sugar, mocha's, frappuccinos, etc. I drink way too much of it, but I just can't stand it. It is so-stinkin-good!
Today, I really wanted a mocha from a coffee shop, but it costs so much money, and even when you order the "skinny" version, its over 100 calories!
So, this afternoon, I decided to make myself a cinnamon-cocoa coffee. It's basically a Mexicano mocha, but it is not quite as thick.
All I did to make this was:
Brew a cup of coffee medium strength (or to taste) and add ground cinnamon to coffee before brewing
Add one teaspoon of cocoa powder
Two Tablespoons of Cinnabon International Delight Creamer
Add extra milk and a teaspoon of splenda if you have a sweet tooth.
Top it off with whip cream and sprinkled with cinnamon.
This drink adds up to 95 calories altogether. That sure beats your typical mocha (which ranges anywhere from 200-400 calories!!!!!
Enjoy!
