Actually, "baby" C is a toddler. We are thrilled to have baby C with us. We had said we would accept a child up to two years old, but honestly, we were expecting a newborn. So when we got a call about our baby, we were surprised that they were a bit older. However, this child is the exact child God had for us, and we are thrilled that they are with us now. We love them a whole stinkin' lot and we cannot wait to tell you more.
We had 6 days notice about our little cutie. We went from planning trips as two married folks without kids to "Holy cow, we're getting a toddler" in 6 days. And let me tell you, THAT is a whirlwind of emotions, if you were wondering 😉😅
We are so thrilled to have baby C with us, and we cannot wait to share more about them, but because of our agencies policies, we are not allowed to share anything about them yet online.
However, we can show you a picture of the nursery, and we can announce that we have adopted, so that is the purpose of this post.
Also, we wanted to take a minute to thank every single one of you who have supported us through this adoption journey. There were many moments of the process that were discouraging, but because so many people came along side us to donate money, pray for us, and offer encouraging words to us, our spirits were lifted again and again.
